Meet the Dentist

Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah.  After earning his degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, he attended dental school at Creighton University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Following dental school Dr. Johnson was selected to participate in a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City.  This optional and rigorous program allowed him to work alongside some of the most respected specialists in Utah.  He received additional training in implant placement and restoration, bone grafting, root canals, and complex crown and bridge treatment. After his residency he gained more experience working at offices along the Wasatch Front, but he is thrilled to have chosen to plant his roots at Jordan View Dental.  When not at his own office, he also provides dental care at the Utah State Hospital in Provo.  

Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association and Utah Dental Association and is always seeking out opportunities to learn and improve his craft.  He is a strong believer that dental care should be tailored to each individual’s unique situation. He approaches treatment planning as if each patient were a close family member, taking time to make sure they understand the pros and cons of available treatments and giving his honest recommendation.  Other dentists who have seen his dental work love his attention to detail and how much he cares.

He and his wife love spending time with their daughter, cheering on their favorite sports teams, and spending time at the lake or in the mountains.
